Job history? What jobs have you had over the last 50 years?
Following high school, I attended and graduated from San Diego State along with two of my very good friends, Dominic Hyatt and Mark Joncich, both of which were graduates of Duarte High, of course, class of 73. Dominic and I were roommates in San Diego and Mark roomed with Nancy Cross, no fun for him. I started college as a Chemistry major and switched to Accounting in year three. I received a Bachelors of Science degree in accounting, and two years later became a Certified Public Accountant. Forty years later I am still a CPA. I lived in San Luis Obispo for 25 years where I had four CPA practices. I have owned and operated many businesses throughout the years, Biodiesel Plants, Construction Company, Fiber Optic installation business, commodity trading in the areas of alternative fuels, waste vegetable oil collection and processing refineries in Nevada, California, Texas and Alabama, Equipment Purchases and Sales with my buddy Mark Joncich. Home refurbishing in Puerto Rico.
Are you currently working, retired or somewhere in-between?
Currently own and operate a CPA practice in the suburbs of Austin, Texas with a 2nd office coming soon in the Waco, Texas area. No plans of retiring anytime soon from Accounting.
